Tim Weston, Managing Director of Student Housing Solutions is widely recognised as an industry leader in Student Housing. After 20 years in the hospitality industry in various locations internationally, Tim entered the student housing industry in year 2000 as General Manager of St Johns College within the University of Sydney. Recognising an opportunity, Tim joined Campus Living Villages (CLV) in 2002 as the CEO of the then start-up company developing and managing a 650 bed student housing complex on the grounds of Sydney University. Tim successfully opened and operated Sydney University Village for two years before moving to a head office role to assume control of the operations of a company that was showing considerable growth.

During the following five years Tim played an integral part in the expansion of CLV in Australia and then into New Zealand and United Kingdom, including setting up the operations in those countries. Tim stepped aside in 2010 from his role as Director of Operations at CLV at a time when the company had grown to own and/or manage in excess of 33,000 student beds in four countries. It was at this time that Tim set up Student Housing Solutions to continue in an industry that he is passionate about.
